On the other side, MR Group was established in 1968.
Since then we have grown into the industry leading company for engine rebuilding and machining services in Serbia.

Long is the way to success, ours started back in 1968 when Radomir Bata Rajković founded his workshop in Belgrade. The rest is history, a combination of various circumstances, effort, work and love for one’s vocation. Our founder laid the foundations for further growth, and family harmony and unity were the recipes for success. That recipe was the secret to making our dreams come true. The story of MR is a story about family, friends, colleagues and the part to stand behind your words and deeds. Our story
through the years
1968
Established
Back in 1968, Bata Rajković founded his repair shop for Hanomag trucks within his family house in Voždovac.
1978
Acquiring first machines
Together with his son Milutin, he travelled to Italy and bought the first used machines for machining of engine parts.
1982
Opening of Voždovac branch
Alongside the Belgrade-Niš highway, they built a new, larger workshop, to which they have moved their business from the old home workshop.
1988
Second generation
Radomir Bata Rajković retires and leaves the business in the hands of his son Milutin who leads the company to new successes.
1989
Machine modernization
The guiding principle of MR has always been modernization, so in 1989, the complete machine park was renewed with new machines.
2001
Computerization
After the war-torn 1990s, the time of computerization and even greater precision in processing came, and thus the time of new investments.
2004
MR Group d.o.o.
On December 3, 2004, SZR MR becomes MR Group LLC. This year also marks the arrival of the third generation of Rajković family, Milutin’s sons Milan and Miloš.
2005
The age of Rottler
MR Group became the first and only company in the Balkans to procure the most modern machines from the American manufacturer Rottler as part of its workshop at that time.
2009
Equip Auto Paris
The first time MR Group exhibited at the international fair took place in 2009 at the Equip Auto Paris fair.
2010
Automechanika Frankfurt
The next step was logical, the first exhibition at the largest fair in our industry. Automechanika 2010. The beginning of our foreign partnerships.
2011
SZR “Bata i Ljuba”
Due to the expansion of and the need for additional staff, MR Group acquires a workshop with a long tradition and professional staff of SZR “Bata and Ljuba”.
2011
Foreign market entry
Now armed with knowledge. with experience and adequate master staff, MR Group is starting to bring clients from different parts of Europe and the world.
2017
MR Engines
Opening of a new factory specialized in complete engines rebuilding for all types of vehicles for foreign and domestic clients in the vicinity of Požarevac, in Malo Crniće.
2018
50 years anniversary
Celebrating 50 years of existence of this family story in our new plant, embellished with over 600 guests, with guests and partners from all over the world.
