Naslanja se na blok motora kako bi se zatvorio kompresioni prostor cilindara, mesto u kome motor sagoreva gorivo i proizvodi snagu. U glavi motora nalaze se ventili koji reguli\u0161u protok vazduha. Usisni ventili uvla\u010de sve\u017e vazduh, potom dolazi do sagorevanja, nakon \u010dega izduvni ventili omogu\u0107avaju sme\u0161i sagorelog vazduha da iza\u0111e iz komore za sagorevanje.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><span>Razlika kod glava motora mo\u017ee biti pre svega u materijalima koji se koriste za izradu istih. Kao posledica neobavljenog velikog servisa u predvi\u0111eno vreme pri kome se vr\u0161i zamena seta razvoda. Tada dolazi do pucanja zup\u010dastog kai\u0161a ili lanca usled istro\u0161enosti, preko kojih se ostvaruje povezanost donjeg dela motora (bloka) i gornjeg dela motora (glave). Gubitkom povezanosti (faze) klipovi koji se nalaze u bloku motora udaraju ventile koji se nalaze u glavi motora, krive ih ili lome.
